What does Payrolling Partners International Ltd have to offer?
PPI and its partner agencies located in the Americas and Europe are a premier provider of payroll services. When you place an individual with us, the agency in the country the employee is working becomes the employer of record. We ensure compliance with all employment law in that country of service. Services include payroll processing, perdiem and expense processing, employee administration, required tax/insurance withholding and reporting, online timekeeping, contract compliance, risk management, etc.

Why should I payroll an individual through Payrolling Partners International?
In addition to the services listed above, Payrolling Partners International has a dedicated International Services Team with representatives located in the U.S. and the countries of service. With this team in place, you can be assured that both you and the employee will be able to contact a team member at a convenient time, who is fluent in the local language(s) and knowledgeable in the rules and standards of the country of service. When payrolling an individual, you can be assured that employment services are provided in compliance with the laws and requirements of the country the individual is working in.

What countries are payroll services available in?
Services are currently provided in the United States, Canada, UK, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, France, Italy and Spain. We are continuously developing new partnerships worldwide. If you are interested in payrolling an individual in a country not listed, please contact our sales team.

Are employment contracts required?
Certain countries require an employment contract between the employee and the employer of record. When you place an individual with us, any required contract is established between the employee and the agency located in the country of service.

Are we required to pay vacation time, holiday pay and/or sick time?
Most countries outside of the U.S. have laws that require employees to be paid vacation, holiday and/or sick time. We ensure that the minimum allowance required by that country’s law is provided. Clients also have the option to provide supplemental time off at their discretion.

What benefits are provided?
Many countries outside of the U.S. have country mandated insurance plans. Plans vary by country but may include programs such as health insurance, disability insurance and retirement plans. We ensure that all required taxes/withholdings are paid to ensure the employee is eligible for those services. Certain countries may have supplemental benefits available. Can I end my employee at any time?
Many, but not all countries outside of the U.S. have specific regulations regarding the amount of notice that must be given to an employee before terminating their assignment. These requirements vary greatly by country. Some countries require a contract length be established at the time of hire while others require that you give an employee a certain amount of advance notice prior to ending their work. This typically does not apply in instances when you want to transfer an employee from our payroll to yours. Please contact us directly for additional details.

I have an employee I want to administer. What do I need to do?
Please contact our sales team to establish a service agreement. If an agreement is already in place for the country of service, submit the International Employee Requisition Form. Upon the receipt of this form, a welcome notice will be sent to the employee and a local representative based in the country of service will contact him or her directly with all necessary enrollment information and materials.

I currently pay by net terms of 15 days or less. Can I pay electronically?
We offer the convenience of electronic fund transfer (EFT) to all of our clients in the U.S. Contact your sales representative for more information.

How do I communicate changes in my worker’s status, such as pay increases?
Please email your request stating the employee’s name, current status, change requested, and any effective dates. These can be emailed to global@payrolling.com or directly to your International Services Team representative. Upon receipt, we will process and provide confirmation to you.

How do employees submit their time?
All employees submit time using our online time and expense reporting system, TimeQ. Time approvers designated by you, the client, approve the hours at the completion of the pay period.

How often are employees paid?
Employees in the U.S. and Canada are paid on a weekly basis. Employees in Europe are paid monthly. European based payrolls are processed after the last business day of each month and employees receive their payments by the 7th calendar day of the following month.

I need to terminate a temporary worker. What do I do?
Please contact our International Services Team. Please be aware that certain countries require a termination notice period be adhered to. Your representative will be able to guide you through the process.
